Assist the regeneration of the Extra-cellular Matrix !

The
purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Iridoforce™ on
the stimulation of synthesis of hyaluronic acid by human chondrocytes.
By
this way, an effect on the claim of the articular metabolism is
required. For this study, we used a new technology (“In cell Analyzer”)
which is an automated system of capture and analysis of images
(fluorescence 4 colors) allowing to visualize and quantify on cell
cultures the membrane, or intracellu-lar protein expression.

Equipped
with a robotized turntable and a autofocus system, the capture of
images (high definitions) is made in a way preset or randomized. The
software of imagery allows then an indi-vidual classification of the
cells and precise quantifica-tion of the marker studied cell by cell
and well by well.

We
developed an in situ labelling in immunofluorescence of hya-uronic acid
in order to visualize and quantify of the synthesis in the
extracellular matrix of human normal chondrocytes treated or not with
the products in the test. Iridoforce™ significantly stimulates the
synthesis of hyaluronic acid by the normal human chondrocytes.
This
efficiency means that Iridoforce™ stimulates new formation of Extra
cellular matrix (ECM) which is a way to fight against arthritis
disease.).
