Founded on 2000 with a new and very innovative extraction facility, Burgundy is now a subsidiary of Cristal Union.
Burgundy Botanical Extracts looked at strengthening its position of supplier for the cosmetic industries and proceeded to the acquisition of the Botanical Extracts business of Cognis, Division Nutrition and Health, and its range of botanical derivatives sold by the care chemicals division to the cosmetic industry during 2009.
Today, Burgundy operates 3 facilities, in France and in Spain.
In addition to its high quality botanical extracts, Burgundy has launched the range “Innovative concepts” as the main axis of development. Accordingly, 80% of R&D internal resources have been dedicated to this goal, supported by external experts, universities and specialized centers. Burgundy creates innovative actives in line with your next needs and wishes.
